Alsco's employee forged our signature on a contract and was fired but they are still trying to hold us to the contract. Now that we stopped the service that we never agreed to they are threatening collections against us as a small business this is devastating!
Not only that but they have slowly increased our weekly bill. When i called to speak with a manger i was told not to talk to the manger i had already spoke with because he is new and doesn't know how things work there! This man (the manager) is a district manager, how could he not know policy being the district manager? This is a horrible company with horrible practices!
Be ware and do research before ever speaking to any of these people. Liars and THIEVES
Preferred solution: cut ties without any more loss to us!
Service is commical
Dishonest, they robbed you at gun point.
Alsco, was overcharging us for over a year, one of our GM reviewing their invoices realizes that they have been charging for products that were not delivered, we called them and fight with the manager over their overcharges, they sent an email apologizing and that they will give us $1500 in credit, they over charged about 5k. We said ok, just send us a check and I will change companies because we don't trust your company anymore.
The minute that we tell them this, they never paid us all the overcharges and they went to court, to sue us because they said we broke the contract. A contract that I was not even aware.
Worst company to deal ever!!! do not sign anything for them.
DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE
Alsco 5 year contract rip off
They were not giving us all the towels they were charging us for. Also were charging us leasing fees on soap dispensers .
Was not told but in fine print I was signing a 5 year contract with no way out. I was told by driver just to call in to cancel service. I got another service before i found out i had been coned and they are threatening to sue. Do not use this company.
Who would knowingly sign a 5 year contract with a linen service? They are *** artist picking on a small sandwich shop.
I will fight them but doubt I will win. Do not use this company you will regret it.
Avoid at all costs
Tried to bill me for damage/loss that did not occur. Tried to deal with them but no response.
Could/would not provide evidence of damage/loss at my request. Delivery person very good. Unreliable service. Many times received other customers products and I suspect that is what happened when they claimed that I lost some of their garments.
If delivery was going to be late or shorted I was not contacted - it just didn't show up. Tried to bill me for services not rendered during an evacuation.
It seems as though management does not consider that they can be wrong and/or mistaken. Will try to hook you into and "automatic renewal" of contract without contacting you.
Worst service and company I ever dealt with
Customer Service - Absolutely the worst I have ever had to deal with
I am an owner of a business and a CASH paying customers and they had a fill in driver who subsequently took MY towels (kitchen) that were distinctly different from their's, did not leave the mop heads and two weeks later when the same fill in drive came in I was trying to show him where his stuff was (by the mop room) Laundry bag, mop head and dust mop. He started to argue with me told me changed everything out and that those were their towels .....I pointed out to him that I had to purchase a mop head due to them not delivery one for me.
He said NO that is ours! I called the office and talked with the supervisor of the drivers and he proceeded to argue with me as well. I told him I do not want the driver in my store again as I have NEVER been treated like that in my life.
He stated I would then miss my delivery as he was a fill in driver. UUUUGGGHHH DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY......I called an alternative.
Bad Service
I would highly recommend AGAINST this company. For over a year we were over paying for this service and when I tried to have it corrected I had no luck.
I emailed three times and call numerous times only to get the voicemail. No one ever did return my calls or emails. At this point I was very fed up and decided to call around getting quotes. I did call a different company which I will not mention and they were so kind to tell me that there was most likely a 5 year contract signed.
I have only been with the company two years and havent seen a service contract. The other company advised me to reach out to them and try to obtain a copy of the contract (it auto renews after the 5 year term FYI) I have yet to be able to actually contact someone who can provide me with this.
Read the fine print; better yet = don't sign!!
Preferred solution: like to break contract without paying out 50% of 3 years.
Overbilling and Rude Management
Contracted with Alsco and was quoted a price for my service--by the 2nd delivery the cost had gone up 40%. The 3rd delivery they had gone up even more!
Refused to take the deliveries based on a violation of their contracted price--District Manager threatened to sue me for breaking the contract--good luck! The only solution was pay or be sued! When confronted with the truth of the matter--they reduced the price and reduced the number of towels we received! Sure we could have it at the original price--if you want less towels.
Horrible service and company. Billy you are a coward and have no clue how to handle customers!

Disappointing
Alsco have meant to be supplying tea towels to us weekly but have probably delivered 30% of the time. They are mean to sign in for H&S reasons, deliver and take away old tea towels.
If they do bother to show up, they have only signed in once. The delivery drivers are always different and I sometimes have to show them where all the kitchens are. Often, the drivers ignore delivery instructions and go to the wrong entrance. When complaining to customer service, I've often been told that the driver couldn't find us.
So they just didn't deliver. Paying $300 for a service you don't get is just plain theft.
As soon as I asked to cancel the service, they said they would be round immediately to collect their items. It's a shame they couldn't have acted this quickly over the last 10 months.

This linen company is the worst one I've ever come across save yourself the money and go anywhere else. I've received 100 linens from them and half are dirty stained or ripped....
I've actually gotten sew together linens with huge seems that can't be missed. Why on earth would j Want to rent these for clients who pay good money for the space to find there napkins with holes and food stains or worst black grease stains. It's not that hard to ensure your products come out clean and presentable before folding them and shipping them off to your clients if you want to keep them. I will never recommend this company to anyone.
They have had lots of chances to redeem themselves and to make matters worse have actually not shown up with our deliverys leaving us to have to explain why we have zero linens for our tables when our clients have already paid for them! Please i hope this helps anyone looking for a reliable company this is not the one for you!
